Interesting thinking -- fusion voting and easing of nomination/ballot requirements might help. I see little downside to either suggestion. Unfortunately, it is doubtful that the establishment would allow such changes without a fight. You may have solved the problem -- but, is anyone listening? If Brown can pull it out in Massachusetts, the dynamics of politics might change significantly. The liberal pendulum could be at it's apogee. Let's hope so.
