Is Akamai's (AKAM)technology a significant component for the Cloud paradigm? Do you know if Apple uses it?

One thing about having all your music in the cloud:

It's all available as long as you can connect.

You don't need any flash memory or very little.

So Apple can cut manufacturing costs on devices by using less memory, to both keep higher profit margins and sell the devices for less than others with larger flash memory.
