In fact, from his speeches and his TV ads, we know that is exactly what he did.

Nonsense.

Brown ran a campaign as a fiscally conservative candidate, opposed to the alleged health care "reform", giving Constitutional rights to terrorists, jobs and cutting taxes and spending.

And it worked. People are tired of business as usual and the free spending ways of both parties.

Scott Brown is the best thing that could have happened to the Dems.

Yes, indeed. And to the GOP as well!

The time for arrogance and complacency is over...
Yes, it should be over, but..

we will see about that!

What does Wall Street think of Scott Brown? Quick and dirty analysis is that I don't really know. Wall Street as a whole may or may not like him, although that is really obscured by China halting bank lending today. Here are the numbers:

S&P500
Yesterday 1,150.23
Today 1,139.09 -1.0%

I also pulled some of the large health care firms and they are also ambiguous. Two were down and two were up:

UNH
Yesterday 35.13
Today 35.01 -0.3%

AET
Yesterday 32.66
Today 32.45 -0.6%

CI
Yesterday 37.92
Today 38.39 1.2%

WLP
Yesterday 68.06
Today 68.93 1.3%

Mindmeld, > Scott Brown is the best thing that could have happened to the Dems. The time for arrogance and complacency is over and now they still have a chance to lead.

Lead where? To the mythical middle?
