People do not go to jail on class action suits. This attorney was off base saying that to someone. That should not be posted on the internet for that is grounds for a libel suit by the people you are talking about. Class action suits are civil, not criminal. Unless they have a jail that they own, they have to convince the government that there was evidence of crimes to put them behind the gray bars. Last time the class action suits were discussed, the stock went up. Remember this, the attorneys want this company to be worth alot of money.

If the stock remains at these levels, it becomes an very attractive takeover candidate. That is the last thing the new top management wants. If the products are as good as everyone says they are, they should be building a large back order list. If the products are as good as everone says, then they would be a great takeover candidate.

Who was buying today?

srvhap,

Did you expect that lawyer to not predict the worst for Ancor? I would venture a guess that his opinion is decidely biased.

Also, Mr. Doell, you were saying that a close below 6 would be bearish for the longs. In my opinon, if we're talking about real "longs" then the only thing bearish would be the company doing poorly in the future. If the company does well in the future, today's close will be irrelevant to those "longs". Unless they're on margin I guess! Are you a TA who believes that the price movement hints at what the "smart money" knows? Or are you a TA who believes that fundamentals are meaningless and basically only believes in trends? (I'm obviously being overly simplistic, of course)

All:

Am I correct with the OEM tally here?:

Brocade: 2 (Sequent, DEC)
McData: 2 (EMC, HP)
Ancor: 1 (Bull??)

Andrew
