Bush sided with the right wing extremists of his party after he took office. Obama soft pedalled with the left wing extremists. By doing so, he personally has left the door open so that Repubs can talk to him. What the Mass. elections have done is slammed the door shut on the likes of Schumer, Waxman, the labor leaders with the Cadillac plan etc. I am pissed at the labor leaders and am with the labor in Mass who are pissed because their leaders are looking out for themselves by seeking heavy tax concessions for their health plans. As I indicated in my earlier posts, I would be happy if the scope of the health care plan underway only includes pre-existing conditions and catastrophic health coverage along with allowing insurance companies to sell across state lines.
