>>I am sure that Leo or one of our other bears could give as many reasons not to expect it any time soon.<<

Call me a bear, or call me a realist.

1) and 2) New product availability isn't going to budge the price, unless sales are big enough to make CNN Headlines.
3) The Oracle license deal itself didn't move the price, as I recall.
4) Acquisition? Can't see it. I read the cash-raising as a means to divert attention from the rather shaky current ratio, which was hanging painfully around 1.0. Long-term debt traded for short-term balance-sheet dressing.
5) Possibly. Too technical for me to judge.
6) (Strong Rebound: your numbering system confused me for a moment!) If I was going to take advantage of the correction, I would pick bargain blue-chips in preference to a marginal tech stock.
7) That could do it. How likely is it?

I think that the jury will be out on this stock for many months. Heck, even Del reckons the turnround will take 6 - 8 Quarters. That's 18 months to two years away. November? Wish-and-hope.

David

I agree. It would make absolutely no sense to sell the Nov call. First, the commission would totally take your proceeds. Couple that with the fact the stock could EASILY rise to 10 1/2 or 11 in the next week or two, certainly in the next month, resulting in options worth 1/2 to 1. It would be nuts to sell those calls.

7) A buy recomendation from a well known analyst.

He must not be too well known, but according to:

quote.yahoo.com

Somebody new has weighed in, and I think it is with a "Strong Buy." But, I don't remember what the recommendations where last week...

Ooops.

I thought we were talking about Nov 10s. I still wouldn't sell the Nov 12.5 at 1/16 though (particularly since Michael will buy them off you at 1/8<g>).

Today ended up a good day. Lots of good stuff happening near the close. I think it is positive that we had this good move near the end of today's session, when the dow is up only 15. This gives us a chance of not opening with the same kind of panic we've seen in the last week, tomorrow morning.

If we could have a couple more days like this, it would drive the price up to the point where we REALLY MIGHT SEE some people covering short positions.
