sounds like he was taunting you here. "All sorts of retorts leap to mind. However, whatever is said, it's quite clear you have absolutely no idea how legislation is written. Whether Reps or Dems. If you wish to make an argument for the short form, go for it. On what grounds would you argue for it? What is your experience with writing legislation? On either side of the aisle? What I think you actually wanted to say was that this is the wrong bill; not that it was too long. Just make that argument." Message 26256867
