Five ways to deal with debt.

Default.

Inflate.

Grow.

Pay, i.e., deleverage.

Tax.

Growth and default are out of the question for US economy. We have globalized our manufacturing base out of existence, and there won't be a default of the country controlling reserve currency.

Tax and inflate therefore seem like the likely solutions.

But taxation on a recumbent population is dodgy.

Inflation is clearly the main way.

If the debt can't be deleveraged, the currency certainly can.

Yes, good job, keep your eye fixed on the ball.
