And Bush talked all the time about the need to wean ourselves off of our dependence on oil, while he increased incentives for oil companies, went to war to secure more oil supplies, and ensured the GOP was completely against any major reform of renewable energy initiatives other than corn ethanol.

So your GOP did not have good answers. At least, Obama is moving in the right direction and taking tangible action.
