OK fair enough and it's my opinion derived from observation, one fact.. When the current government of Canada, the Conservatives, were elected Stratfor proclaimed that this was great for business in Canada as they were a government of business.. In fact the current Conservatives are basically the the result of a populist party, the Alliance, earlier known as the Reform party which arose in the West of Canada. To gain a little more palatability in the East they merged with the sorry remnants of the Progressive Conservative party of Canada which had all but self destructed but had been one of two main Canadian parties for ever... originally the Conservative party at the time of Confederation. Now in Canada it is interesting to note that the Liberal party is associated with many wealthy families (as was the OLD Conservative party, Mulroney), example Frank Stronach, head of Magna is a staunch Liberal.. Someone @ Stratfor evidently saw the tag 'Conservative and made a few assumptions..

So I will modify my original post to say.. IMO.. but so far that opinion has served me well wrt Stratfor's calls on China..

TBS..
