Kant, here is the chain of logic, which you should be able to follow.

CO2 dissolves in water. I think you agree on that fact.

There is a Gulf Stream. I think you agree on that too or have I already lost you

The Gulf Stream flows north in huge quantities. Still there?

The solubility of CO2 increases with cooler temperatures [so the CO2 is not escaping as the Gulf Stream heads north].

The Gulf Stream in its cold state with maximum density low temperature and high salinity due to evaporation of water goes plunging down to the ocean depths. Still there or have you lost the plot?

The CO2 goes down too. There is no magician to tell the CO2 to quickly escape as the water dives down.

The CO2 takes a longgggg time to circulate in the ocean depths. It is sequestered. You probably have no idea how long it stays down there but it's measured in hundreds of years.

Which aspect is what you call the scientific term "unmitigated crap"?

In what aspect is it delusional? You should be able to really easily explain it if it's that easy. Or, readers will correctly conclude that you are what you are.
