I think there is a little confusion regarding x-div dates and settlement dates. As long and you buy the stock before x div date and hold it until x-div day you will be paid the dividend.

If you buy on x div date or after you will not get the dividend. Don't worry about settlement dates on this issue. Hope that is little clearer. For example if you buy INTC today and sell tomorrow you will be paid the dividend. If you wait and buy INTC tomorrow you will not get the dividend that is paid on 3/01 But like other posters have said the stock will be adjusted down .16 tomorrow plus or minus any other market movement.

Make sure you consider the above when trading options as well as they usually do not adjust as it already priced in.
