Brazil's TAM in talks to buy LAN stake - report

TAM is interested in the 19 percent LAN stake held by Pinera's (new Chilean President) holding company Axxion AXX.N, Exame said.

SAO PAULO, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Brazil's largest airline, TAM Linhas Aereas (TAMM4.SA) (TAM.N) is in talks to buy a stake in Chile's flagship airline LAN LAN.SN (LFL.N) owned by President-elect Sebastian Pinera, Brazilian magazine Exame reported late on Thursday on its Web site.
