LOL! Very overly dramatic in a partisan pinhead sort of a way. The healthcare bill in it's present form deserved to die.

By Greg Robb, MarketWatch
WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- First-time filings for state unemployment benefits climbed back to their highest level since mid-December last week, defying the forecasts of economists who had expected a sharp downturn, government data showed Thursday.

For the week ended Jan. 30, initial claims rose 8,000 to stand at 480,000, according to the Labor Department.

A closely watched barometer for U.S. employment, claims had spiked earlier in January. However, economists have thought that the increase would quickly be reversed.

Instead, the data indicate that claims have stabilized around the higher level.

At first, Labor Department officials appeared to blame the increase on an administrative catch-up to a backlog that had developed over the holiday season. That explanation seems to make less sense as more time passes.

HOGWASH, HOGWASH, HOGWASH! If dems wanted it passed, it would have been passed. The dems chickened out for fear of losing their cushy, perk-filled jobs!

Maybe you should take a look at who has had all the power since January 2009 and educate yourself.

The OMB director is grilled over the misuse of bank bailout funds for purposes other than intended by Congress. This taxpayer money wasn't intended to be the administration's perpetual slush fund.

Healthcare Reform is still an issue. The stealth take over "healthcare" bill may be dead and a good thing. We should take whatever is good from it and add more good. Leaving the very bad proposed policies behind.

Obama:Able to spend more than 1.8Billion dollars in a short time
Avatar Movie:Able to earn more than 1.8Billion dollars in a short time

That's 'The Difference Between Avatar and Obama' -
today's Bish cartoon is hilarious and sadly true.

p.s. it's also the difference between Dems & Repubs. Dems, as a result of lacking any practical business experience blindly spend like drunken sailors.
