Remember Carter was considered a do nothing president.

What policies did he put into place from 1977 thru 1980 that were a precursor to what you see from 1981 thru 1992?

Since you claim it takes time for policies to take effect I think you should respond directly to the above question, - - - but you won't.

Also, what recent president inherited a surplus and immediately tossed it away with a tax rebate?

Will we see in that 'story' ANY EXAMPLES of Republican administrations since President Nixon (either *with* or *without* simultaneous control of either house of Congress) actually REDUCING FEDERAL DEFICITS substantially?

I mean... that would be a GREAT STORY if we but had some examples to talk about!
