"Bentway, Krugman was right there criticizing Bush's $400 billion deficits, but when it comes to Obama's trillion dollar deficits, he takes a "much calmer view." You see no difference between a relatively prosperous time, when we SHOULD have been paying down the deficit, and a time when the entire world economy was in free fall? As Krugman pointed out, our deficit is no more than it was after Reagan/Poppy Bush - which Clinton paid down. Who's the partisan hack?
