Bridge Player; Resurrection is for Bible believers and a few hardy Democrats who refuse to give up their dream. A person who likes a game as complicated as bridge (I said complicated - not hard), should not make such a final answer. What happens if the democrats adopt most of what the republicans have on their web site and challenge republicans to their 41 majority? I think there is lots there that people in the center would love to have. So we end up with the venerable being doubled and redoubled on the Grand Slam of health care.

I heard that the reasons for the failure of the Democrats to support the Democratic candidate in Mass. hinged on the poor performance by the Democrat candidate as well as Union leaders who thought that in this new health bill they would lose... by having their benefits diminished. The head of the AFL CIO stated this on a Bill Moyers interview. The usually pro Democratic union members switched did so predicated on false information. November will be a proving ground. Besides and I keep saying this but I really wish McCain had won. I would have loved to have seen how he and Sarah would have handed the crisis that was left to Obama. He has made many wrong moves but I think he is learning as he now is not going to call for the energy bill he had wanted. So he is changing as the economy requires it. After all it took 8 years to get to where we are. Give him more than 1 year... to try to fix it up.
