XOM has been on my radar for almost forever. Only taken a position now. With skin in the game, everything looks different. LOL I see XOM as great value especially with the XTO M.A. Why the big drop since the announcement? Its also approaching striking distance of 52 week low (recorded when SPX was 667 last March). The big market is nowhere near the lows. Its much more volatile than I expected, especially for a company whose every point move is 4.75 Billion market cap. Must have Nasdaq MM, trades like a Nasdaq stock.
