We had a record warm summer and a record warm winter. East coast got all our cold via the jet stream. I have seen this many times before.

Southern canada could becoeme the bread basket of the world.

Warmer climate means more wheat, endless acreage and you have lots of potash and water.

Food could replace resources as your primary export.
