Shane, all one needs to do is to set the expectations at such level that anything they report will look good. Are there any expectations out there?

The truth is that a resolution of this decline might be precipitated by an earning reportt. If it is bad, we may have a final capitulation, if it is good, a possible very strong rally. However, usually the price action of a stock prior to earnings more or less reflects the earnings picture already.

Someone on AOL's Motley Fool board claimed to have spoken with the CFO yesterday, and reported that "they hadn't set a date [for earnings] yet, althoug [sic] he said they were running out of time."

Great -- maybe they won't even bother releasing them, and they will have to change their NASDAQ symbol to reflect the late report. That would be good for another hit.
