Sounds like you are speaking about hussein obama, is that the sort of extreme views you are speaking of? It just doesn't make sense that the left continues to hammer Palin if they're not feeling threatened by her. For example, there is little Democratic banter about Republican Chuck Grassley that attempts to point out a lack of intelligence, executive experience, grasp of issues, folksy manner, etc., etc. One would assume that he's not a target because he's not a viable threat to the left in terms of money raising ability or potential national candidacy. There's no perceived reason to go after him. On the other hand, they're going after Palin in a HUGE way. The left seems to be receiving backlash for this strategy and are acquiring a reputation for being "mean spirited" and perhaps even sexist for going after her while simultaneouosly claiming she has no viability and poses no threat. Doesn't make sense if they truly believe that. Is this another example of the left's actions not matching their words? It seems that they just can't stop themselves from creating in Palin an icon that in reality would probably not otherwise pose much of a threat to them. She is becoming a populist hero (almost a cult figure) largely due to the left keeping her very much in the spotlight ..... another very ill conceived strategy if one were to ask me. By their actions, the left continues to be their own worst enemy. Pat
