For me, the verdict's out on Palin. Her creds are somewhat shallow

I'm no expert on the history of American Presidents, but this issue of credentials is a bit confusing. Few examples - take Dwight Eisenhower - he had just about no political experience at all before getting elected. Carter was a Governor and a fool. Our current Prez for the most part was a local organizer/power broker and a State Senator. He was elected, presumably, because he is "intelligent" - and in the opinion of many, capable of being an inspiring speaker.

In that context, Sarah Palin's "credentials" look just fine. The lady is obviously a born politician and a leader. Her judgment is good, her convictions and her heart are in the right place. She does have executive experience in the political arena. She is certainly learning fast to hold her own with the big boys. So far, I see no reason at all to doubt that she would do very well.
