Credentials to me means enough history so that I can trust the person. I haven't known her long enough to trust her.

I voted for GWB two times; the first time, Al Gore made me do it.

The second time, John K and my military service made me do it.

Both times, I felt Bush was marginal, but as he firmed up his team, I had confidence that I'd made the right decision; both times.

The credentials that Bush had, going into his first term were not only buffeted by a strong team, but he had one hell of a mentor – his father.

WRT Palin, you are correct on many points, BUT as this point in time I have less confidence in her than I had with Bush.

Put another way, I guess the old saw, "It's not what you know but who…", comes into play.

Do you feel Palin has those "who you know", connections?
