Being in sheer ignorance about the federal deficit isn't a "plan" in my book.

I don't even take Krugman seriously these days, ever since he magically took on a "much calmer view" toward the deficit.

Maybe you're looking forward to higher interest rates down the road. I think I ought to position myself for that inevitability. That or inflation. Chance favors the prepared mind ...
