This is the weekly look at the SOX stocks in terms of percent change. Monday was the weakest day, but from then on it was a positive trend for most of the stocks. AMD and TXN were up all 5 days. "Tech" was quite a bit stronger for the week compared to the DOW and SPX.

Hi Don,

Just off the top of your head has there been a relative similar action during the month in which earnings came out.

That is during earning announcement - the sell the news prevails and after all info is out -the market concludes things are better than before and they buy back?

I see a drop in July and November and now January where indexes dip and approach their 50 sma and then rally after earnings.

Just wondering if I'm recollecting correctly?
