I don't have to hope for the govt. to do ANYTHING. As patron already told you, I'm RENTING. And nowhere near the IE.

In fact, I'd wish the govt. would STOP the intervention so prices would fall around here.

But I'd guess more people in the IE were subprime, as opposed to the Alt-A and Prime loan people who live in coastal. If true, the upcoming resets should hit the coastal folks and home prices harder.
