2/26/10 Update Winding down 2010's second month, both the Bears and Bulls seemed to be skating in circles. At Friday's close, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -1.36% YTD (vs. down -1.11% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Biotech Index closed the week up 4.18% YTD (vs. up 4.51% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median closed up 3.28% YTD (vs. up 5.72% YTD a week ago). WYD's portfolio (up 24.83%) held on to the Gold, with GEORGIA's portfolio (up 18.49% YTD) seizing the Silver and DEWDIL's portfolio (up 15.08% YTD) taking the Bronze. (I double-checked the 12/31/09 Contest starting quotes and aside from my REGN/RGEN screw up caught by Tuck they all looked Ok.) At Friday's close, 20 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black and 14 of the 32 were beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
