no need for plane ticket to leave

and less need for plane ticket to visit

because i live where true freedom thrives and genuine liberty triumphs

we are ranked #1 in economic freedom in the entire universe

we are the wealthiest on the planet

second highest in longevity terms

and probably highest in % of population with second, third and fourth passports, because we are free to do engage with such, so as to best protect our freedoms

we have a whopper of a fiscal surplus and a huge reserve base, at level of the tiny government, large corporations, and sovereign individuals

and we enjoy true rule of genuinely useful law, where loser pays all winners cost

our civil servants are discussing and about to pass a tax decrease, as our too high 15.5% flat rate on only salary income above a living wage and 16.5% flat rate for corporate on-shore income is clearly too high

our tax form is one page long, and filled out for us to just sign

our servants keep their graspy hands off of all other incomes, be they off shore sourced or are passive in nature (including dividends

better still, we will get 50% off of our already tiny property tax (1,000 for 3 mm property, for example) and get some continuing electricity subsidy just for fun

just in in-tray

an interesting poll result - the 'selectorate' realizes the truth:

The founding document of the United States, the Declaration of Independence, states that governments derive “their just powers from the consent of the governed.” Today, however, just 21% of voters nationwide believe that the federal government enjoys the consent of the governed.

... and you think you have freedom?! ignorance is indeed bliss.

let me point out the obvious, that you have some paltry amount of rights, and you have mistaken it for freedom. you cannot even easily escape from your masters if you tried.

so, tell me about your freedoms and amaze me with your liberties. i wish to learn how my lot can be improved on.

and once we get our basic premise correct, then maybe we can discuss more fruitfully on economics and such built on top.
