<Until management and legislators take pay cuts, don't even think of asking labor for concessions.>

Trig, you misunderstand me. I am neither labor nor management. I am 4+ years retired. My wife is 5+ years retired. We receive no pensions, nor will. We are not old enough to get Soc/Sec.

I think legislators ought to serve for minimum wage, which they would get only when in session. If so, there would be citizen legislators, not career politicians, and they would be making a sacrifice to serve, as they ask us to do. They would adjourn on time in order to resume earning money.

As to corporate management, only directors and shareholders have the right to change their compensation. Perhaps we ought to get busy and make those changes?

Pray tell what does it take for you to get it through your thick head that when it comes to public unions ...

administrators, politicians, and unions are all in the same bed

Administrators often get automatic raises when the unions do.
Politicians go along to buy votes

The whole *ing system is corrupt as no one NO ONE looks out for what is in the best interest of the public.

How many damn times does this argument have to be repeated before it sinks into your thick head?
