Seriously, what is the point of railing against something you can't change? I don't get it. Rs are fighting the same battle they have been fighting for nearly 300 years. As the country gets bigger, the gov't has to get bigger to deal with all the problems and needs of a growing population. Yes, you don't want the gov't to grow helter skelter but this wishing for a simpler time with a smaller gov't is just ridiculous. Unless there is some catastrophic event, we will never be that bucolic, rural, agrarian nation of the 18th century ever again. So please.......get your butts into the 21st century with the rest of us so we can start solving the significant and somewhat massive problems confronting us.
