That's actually my point... they don't. They can easily stand back, put bills forward and then give up becuase of the fillibuster and wait.

Problem is, if and when the Rs pick up seats in the fall, they'll say it's a repudiation of O and a vindication of their policies. Tea partiers would disappear if the R's got control of Congress because, IMO, most are just disgruntled Rs and birthers. (If they were truly bipartisan, they would have appeared when the Rs were running up deficits.)

I don't think we need a viable third party, I think we need no parties. But that's as likely as I have of winning Tiger Woods' mistress contest.
