John; Too many problems with letting insurance companies sell across state lines; and too many problems with federal level regulation. Is that right? Welllll, the problems with selling across state lines are insurance company problems and I have very little sympathy for them. They can do that now. As to "too many problems with federal level regulation"; I wouldn't look at them as problems. It would obviously be much easier for the insurance companies. I just am a strong believer in States Rights vrs federal. For instance I don't want a "decider" from a state - maybe say Texas for instance - and a VP intent on deregulating every single regulation - maybe say from a state like Wyoming - deciding what my state's insurance should look like.
