If Krugman believes that it will save money, there is a very nice bridge I can sell him. We all know that government programs are never cheap -- but their results often are, that's true.

Then why is government health care cheaper in every other rich country in the world?

Well the system we have today in America is the most expensive in the world.

Historic indeed. Probably, the greatest government financial commitment while running the greatest budget deficit during one of the greatest economic declines.

I'd love to see us implement the system Taiwan has or even Germany. Japan's isn't bad either.
