What's "Pyrrhic victory". From the sentence it sounds like an empty victory?
After I printed out your message about shorts, which printed fine, I wrote a letter and when I tried to print it, the page is blank.The HP printer I have has two cartridges, one color, one black. Does the fact that the message printed but the letter didnt indicate I am out of ink and need a new black cartridge?
Shorting: sounds very interesting. Is it fairly reliable to short when terrible earnings report comes outif you sell immediately that morning and wait a few days to buy back. Or longer if it looks like a long term problem? Do you have any time period for yourself when you have decided to short a stock?

Agreed, Amati has reduced their price to license their DMT to such a small charge no one can afford not to license it, ADI just did not long ago. No patent fights or standards battles makes good business sense.

As an aside, do you think NN is on the same couse as ASND? I see this would be the 2nd Qrt. in a row with a loss, and this one is expected to be bigger than the last. They're down $10 now...but I guess that's not a buying opp. <G>
