For those who have "hidden" the WAT update, what should they do when the next Service Pack is issued? Will this update get installed, or are hidden updates remain hidden when they're part of a Service Pack?

Cheers, PW.

<<<<< The problem that's occurring with the WAT is legal systems being flagged as pirated.

That's a fear, NOT a fact. There has not been a single occurrence of that fear.

On another note, Windows Securities Essentials just went up a notch in my opinion. I migrated most of my old hard drive to my new PC using the new external hard drive as the "go between".

As I was putting the old data on the new machine, SE detected, quarantined and requested my permission to remove malware. This had been missed by all my prior security software including Norton Antivirus/Antispyware, Spybot S&D, Adaware, Spywareguard and the security suite that my ISP provided.

Those of us who've kept our prejudices against MSFT may well be mistaken with respect to Win 7, its features and MSFT's current approach.

OTOH, there's a Windows Live update to Office where the scan of the license agreement caused me to stop then read it and decide against that update.
