Low regulation doesn't mean weak regulation. The important stuff you deal with strongly. In fact you are more able to do so because the regulatory authorities are not so busy dealing with tons of other regulations. Easy to say. Counter to the libertarian mantra, regulations are not put in place as a "power grab" or some other sinister government plot. They are put in place to protect the public interest IN RESPONSE to real problems. I know a lot of senior government workers and they are extremely conscientious people. More public spirited than your average person.... and less corrupt. Also under CONSTANT scrutiny, unlike public sector workers. The villains are all in your head...
