OK, here is another question. I bought CPQ on Oct 30th. An article I read said a Compac 2-1 stock split will occur Jan 98 for stock holders of record on Oct 30th. Can someone elaborate on the reason for the "of record Oct 30" if the split occurs in January?

greg, the only thing that fits into the dell thread is someone who only wants to hear positive news and reasons why dell is going up.

question...why are they rescheduling intel chips out and what chips are they pushing out????
