I also know of no profession that whines about their failures and blames everyone besides the people doing the work.

"I can't teach Johnny, he comes from a broken home where mommy and daddy don't love him enough" is their rallying cry...

If military instructors took that victimhood approach, they would be blowing up planes, ships and submarines on a daily basis. "I can't teach Johnny how to do maintenance on the nuclear reactor, he came from a broken home where mommy and daddy didn't love him enough". Can you imagine....

Truly pathetic how the NEA has promoted this victimhood mindset by the public school teaching profession in America.

Grow up teachers, you have the kids for 6 hours a day. Be professional, get motivated, get off your duff and find creative ways to teach kids. Stop being so dang lazy and looking at the clock to punch out of work. And by the way, you may have to work on an occasional weekend or night to better prepare for class the next day.
