as Reagan sagely pointed out, with the ever-increasing role of government in healthcare, doctors will lose their personal liberty as well.

“First you decide that the doctor can have so many patients. They are equally divided among the various doctors by the government. But then the doctors aren’t equally divided geographically, so a doctor decides he wants to practice in one town and the government has to say to him, ‘You can’t live in that town, they already have enough doctors. You have to go someplace else.’ And from here it is only a short step to dictating where he will go.”

......................

Yes. The "logical, rational" way to approach this is - Why have more doctors where there are already some? Let them go to where they are needed more.

That's serfdom. Anyone who thinks they can have serfdom for Doctors and freedom for everyone else, please raise your hand.

Golly gee and looky here, the jelly bean man started encountering serious health problems at age 74 and i have wondered before and now again, if Reagan freemarketeer, and so against that vile socialism commie health care, showed the courage of his convictions and wrote checks for all his health problems after age 65.

<<..On July 13, 1985, Reagan underwent surgery at Bethesda Naval Hospital to remove cancerous polyps from his colon. This caused the first-ever invocation of the acting president clause of the 25th Amendment.[198] The surgery lasted just under three hours and was successful.[199] Reagan resumed the powers of the presidency later that day.[200] In August of that year, he underwent an operation to remove skin cancer cells from his nose.[201] In October, additional skin cancer cells that were detected on his nose were removed.[202]

Two years later, on January 5, Reagan underwent surgery for an enlarged prostate which caused further worries about his health. No cancerous growths were found, however, and he was not sedated during the operation.[203] In July of that year, aged 76, he underwent a third skin cancer operation on his nose.[204]

Earlier in his presidency, Reagan started wearing a custom, technologically advanced hearing aid, first in his right ear[205] and later in his left as well.[206] His decision to go public with his wearing the small, audio-amplifying device boosted their sales.[207]...>>>

Well i doubt that he picked up the tab, for his health care for the 28 years he survived after age 65 so that would make him a hypocrite.

Like many on this thread are about to become hypocrites at age 65.

The big "R" bios.. lol
