I would also prefer to believe we are not random manifestation of the universe; BUT, the evidence sure points to that!

It most certainly does NOT!

Just think about this among so much else .... a system of symbolically encoding information in chemical bonds (aka software) developed by pure chance? Not just the information itself and machinery to use it, but the encoding system ie an alphabet, itself. Hilarious anyone would believe that.

Koan, > YOu are right I would also prefer to believe we are not random manifestation of the universe; BUT, the evidence sure points to that!

You're being disingenuous. To someone who wants to place man at the throne of God, nothing could be better than the notion that we're all a product of random chance.

Every time you see people getting killed senselessly, every time you watch the reports of some horrible crime, you should be bowing down to the god of random chance. That's just "natural selection" at work. Good and evil doesn't exist. Only what you can fathom with your finite wisdom.
