The American economy doesn't exist in a vacuum. If you think resorting to barter is a sign of a healthy economy you are a lot dumber than I think you are.

But, I don't think you are dumb. Just so partisan that you are willing to ignore reality. That is ok, I suppose...

Umm, Tenchu, it is disastrous. For every job that opens, there are 6 unemployed people looking. If it wasn't for the stimulus you like to disparage, those people would be losing houses, living on the street, etc. Instead of having at least some money to spend to get the economy off of its knees and into something like recovery.

I will grant you that economics isn't all that solid of a science. But to just make up things isn't a solution.
