Globalstar does have great potential. But potential isn't profit. People are getting jumpy and thinking that maybe, after a couple of decades of promises, promises, that perhaps things will work out okay after all.

But right now, all they have is a bunch of dead satellites and rumours of some others under construction. They do have a load of debt though and temporary access to a lot of spectrum so perhaps the debt and being allowed to use some spectrum is profitable.

The greatest gains always go to those who take the greatest risks when others are fearful and doubt the potential and the promises.

We still have no idea what "aggressive" means in regard to pricing. $10 a minute? $100 a megabyte? 10c a megabyte? 1c per megabyte? Free until the constellation is busy?

Did somebody leak some good news somewhere, or what? Stock seems to be running like a scalded dog lately... is this a runup to the earnings announcement on Thursday?

National Broadband plan is released in about 8 days.

There is speculation that the FCC may entertain the idea of removing the Dual Mode requirements for the MSS ATC gating requirements to get the spectrum into the marketplace. This would significantly increase the valuations and attractiveness of the spectrum.

This and ~90% of the float is now held between Thermo and Institutional Investors.

I heard a rumor that Globasltar was approached for a 25 million share private placement earlier in the quarter. Globalstar told the interested party that they had no need for money, and pointed them to the open market.

I expect near breakeven results minus one-time charges for the SPOT 2 recall and AXONN acquisition related charges.

These guys have two missions. Launch the second constellation and flatten the organization and OPEx to become EBITDA positive. They almost did it last quarter.

Much easier to sell your story when YOU ARE EBITDA positive with a BROKEN CONSTELLATION. Than providing a bunch of theory and concepts about HOW YOU WILL BECOME EBITDA positive with a NEW CONSTELLATION.

Really, the pot of gold is just over the horizon..... Right over there.... All we need is another 400 million dollars.

And so it goes,
