At the expense of possibly being yelled at I would say that the stock is going higher but I expect there will be short term dips along the way. Not due to CSCO in particular but due to market conditions and psychology in general. In particular I am keeping an eye on two factors that may provide a buying opportunity for a couple of stocks that I want to pick up.

1. If we end up bombing IRAQ next week then we can expect downward short term volatility.

2. If Asian markets or S. American markets get shaky again then we could hit some air pockets as well.

IMHO

I don't like to buy a high flying stock at or near its all time high. Therefore I have not yet managed to buy back those Cisco shares that I sold earlier. At the few times that Cisco is available at a good price many other companies are available at a great price.
I think the best strategy for buying Cisco is to start with some of the money and buy more later independent of Cisco price movements.
During the april network stock correction I moved some money from Cisco into cheap Cascade shares. Cascade merged with Ascend and is doing very poorly now. Since then may remaining Cisco shares went up 50% while my Cascade shares went down 30 to 40%.
