And it helped to know the movers and shakers with the local law enforcement. A Trans Am damn near flys like a plane when you hit the secondary levee bump doing 120+. That car sits in the garage today. (And on second thought maybe it needs to be sold before the 10 year old turns 16.) But you know what? All that clowning around crap sure taught you how to handle a car though. Kids these days don't have a clue. When it iced or snowed we hit the mostly abandoned shopping center parking lot for fun and games. Nobody ever said a word to us. Today you'd get put under the jail.
