I see, so you improve it by adding more of which ruined it in the first place. What do you think a private "medicare like" program would cost the nation? In your cynical makeup, you folks fail fail to understand that people need health care and that Medicare is just a vehicle by which elders are administered it. A privatized medicare_like program would merely re-distribute some of the cost but in the end the total bill of caring for Americans would be largely unchanged if not higher. Al
