<<< As for how quickly the troops should leave, Obama's campaign Web site said: "Obama will immediately begin to remove our troops from Iraq. He will remove one to two combat brigades each month...>>>

So after 13 months, we SHOULD have between 13 and 26 brigades removed, right? That's what he promised, right?

So Ted, tell us how many brigades Obama has ACTUALLY removed as of now...

Ted?

Bueller? Bueller?

Ted, looks like I was half-wrong about Obama not starting any troop withdrawals.

Technically, I'm right since it was Bush that started the troop withdrawals, and Obama is only continuing them. But that's splitting hairs on my part, since I was under the mistaken impression that troop levels in Iraq were holding steady.

In any case, I agree with you that the schedules are holding steady. But it looks like the number of troops that will actually be withdrawn will be far less than the campaign rhetoric hinted at, since 35K to 50K troops will remain for "training and counterterrorism" purposes.
