Really? And there I was thinking that they had lost the ability to overcome a republican filibuster threat...thanks for setting me straight.

Right now, those Dems are weighing their options and they will vote based on what they think it will do for them in November.

A large majority of dems have never wavered...but your description would lump every public servant into this pall of self interest and corruption. But why not...it's become the fashionable thing to do these days...unfortunately it's corroding the fabric of a country increasingly made ungovernable. Kennedy's outburst on the floor of the senate yesterday says it best for me.
