The public only cares about jobs and their wallet. There are
no jobs, their wallet is empty, and they are up to their ears
in debt because the price of their main asset, their home,
collapsed below their mortgage. The proverbial debt bubble trap.
Add rising interest rates due to collapsing government
fiscal situation, and you get our standard SHTF scenario,
which is 1000 times worse than Japanese lost decade. The latter
had pretty low unemployment.
