True that. Unbelievably productive farmland. Some of the best craft brewers in the nation. Despite some of what you hear, a solid, productive populace.

At the end of the day, though, Michigan is surrounded by a treasure that people from arid climates would have a hard time comprehending: seas of fresh water. Those things are a marvel to behold.

It's more than 100 miles from an ocean, so it may as well be on Pluto in my estimation! I require an ocean for my mental well-being...
