The tea baggers' rage-fest just happened to coincide with the election of the first black president ...

What? I thought the tea party thing developed from a rant on CNBC by a reporter on a trading floor and that happened long AFTER Obama was elected. And what does that have to do with inter-racial marriage?

I don't think it really has too much to do with a black president- except in so far as his "socialist" or "communist" leanings are related to his blackness. For some tea partiers no doubt race plays a part, but I don't think it does for all, or even most, of them- at least not consciously. After all, these are folks who love their black conservatives- or at least are happy to pay lip service to the appearance of love.

But hey, that's just my opinion. I think there are plenty of folks on the right who can fly in to a rage just because a person is liberal- they don't need the whole color thing to make them mad. Just imagine the heart damage they are doing with all that high blood pressure...
